About Northgate Swimming Club.

Northgate Swimming Club is proud to be associated with The ASA and Swim21.
We are a competitive swimming club affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association and based in Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock in Shropshire. We are also a charity in our own right with the purpose of promoting healthy recreation through swimming and other associated water sports. We have over more than 200 members swimming each week in six different squads all coached by a volunteer team of highly qualified coaches and pool side helpers.
Most of all we recognise that all our swimmers are different and we pride ourselves helping them all to reach their full potential. So we make sure that all our training
sessions, whilst being hard work of course, are also fun. And that’s the essence of Northgate – at our heart we are a club built on a team of dedicated volunteers providing great training and fun with very much the feel of an extended family. Indeed the parents of some of our younger swimmers today were themselves swimmers with Northgate.
We cater for all abilities up to and including Midland regional and national level swimmers and all ages from about five or six to ourMasters section – whose ages it would be impolite to mention.
We compete in a range of different leagues to give as many Northgate members as possible the opportunity to compete for the club. We run our own galas and on many weekends through the year a number of Northgate swimmers can be found at open events around the Midlands and sometimes beyond.
If you are interested in joining Northgate then come along to one of our taster sessions,
